Terms & Conditions
Last Updated: May 2026
Welcome to MindLittleOne.
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and any purchase made through MindLittleOne. By accessing our website, placing an order, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions together with any other policies referenced on our website.
Please review the information relevant to your purchase before completing your order.
1. Website Use
By using this website, you confirm that you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement in your country or region, or that you are using the website with the permission of a parent or legal guardian where required.
You agree not to use our website, products, content, or services for any unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or unauthorised purpose or in violation of applicable laws or regulations.
We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to our website where misuse, fraud, security concerns, or other inappropriate activity is reasonably suspected.
2. Product Information & Purchase Decisions
We take reasonable care to present our products as clearly and accurately as possible, including product descriptions, photographs, specifications, formats, dimensions, intended audiences, and other relevant information where applicable.
Before purchasing, customers are encouraged to review the product information provided and consider whether the product is suitable for their own intended use, preferences, requirements, and circumstances.
By completing a purchase, you acknowledge that you have had a reasonable opportunity to review the available product information and that your purchase decision is made based on your own assessment of the product.
Where additional information is important to your purchasing decision, you are encouraged to contact us before placing your order.
Unless expressly stated otherwise:
- Product photographs are provided for general representation and presentation purposes.
- Colours may vary slightly depending on lighting, photography, printing, manufacturing batches, and device display settings.
- Packaging, covers, illustrations, printing, dimensions, layouts, editions, or minor product details may occasionally vary from those displayed.
- Availability is subject to change.
- Individual preferences, expectations, reading experiences, learning outcomes, and opinions regarding content may differ.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MindLittleOne is not responsible for dissatisfaction arising solely from personal preference, subjective expectations, suitability for an individual's particular circumstances, or assumptions that are not based on representations expressly made by MindLittleOne.
Nothing in this section excludes responsibility where a product is materially different from its description, defective, or where applicable law provides otherwise.
3. Books, Educational & Informational Content
Books and other informational products offered through MindLittleOne may discuss educational, personal development, lifestyle, relationship, parenting, behavioural, wellness, or other general-interest topics.
Such content is provided for general reading, educational, or informational purposes unless expressly stated otherwise.
Different readers may interpret, experience, or benefit from the same material differently. A product's ideas, perspectives, methods, or information should therefore not be interpreted as a guarantee of any particular result or outcome.
Customers remain responsible for determining whether a particular title, subject, reading level, viewpoint, or format is appropriate for their intended reader or purpose.
Where a product is intended for a child, the parent, guardian, or purchaser is responsible for determining whether its subject matter, complexity, illustrations, terminology, and content are suitable for that individual child.
Where a product discusses health, psychological, financial, legal, relationship, or other specialised subjects, the content should not be treated as a substitute for advice from an appropriately qualified professional.
4. Product Availability
All products are subject to availability.
We may introduce, modify, limit, suspend, replace, or discontinue products or product variations from time to time.
Where an item becomes unavailable after an order has been submitted, we may contact you to provide an appropriate alternative, revised fulfilment arrangement, or refund where applicable.
5. Pricing
Prices are displayed in the currency indicated on our website and may be changed from time to time.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, promotions, discounts, bundles, introductory offers, and promotional prices are subject to their stated terms and availability.
A price change will not normally affect an order that has already been accepted and paid for, except where there is an obvious pricing or system error.
If an obvious pricing error occurs, we reserve the right to cancel the affected transaction and provide a refund of the amount paid.
Taxes, duties, customs charges, or other charges applicable to international orders may vary depending on the destination and will be handled in accordance with the information provided during checkout and applicable requirements.
6. Orders
Submitting an order constitutes an offer to purchase the selected product or products.
Receiving an automated order acknowledgement does not necessarily mean that an order has been finally accepted.
An order is considered accepted once payment has been successfully processed and the order has been approved for fulfilment.
We reserve the right, where reasonably necessary, to:
- Decline or cancel an order.
- Limit quantities purchased.
- Correct obvious pricing or product listing errors.
- Request additional information to verify an order.
- Refuse transactions reasonably suspected to involve fraud, payment misuse, resale abuse, or other unauthorised activity.
- If an order is cancelled after payment has been successfully collected, the applicable amount will be refunded to the original payment method.
7. Customer Order Information
Customers are responsible for ensuring that information submitted during checkout is complete and accurate, including:
- Customer name
- Email address
- Contact information
- Delivery address
- Product selection
- Quantity
- Variant or format selected
Please review your order carefully before completing payment.
If you discover an error after placing your order, contact us as soon as possible. We will make reasonable efforts to assist, but changes cannot be guaranteed once fulfilment or shipment has begun.
Additional costs resulting from incorrect information supplied by the customer may, where reasonable and permitted by law, be the customer's responsibility.
8. Payment
We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout.
Payments may be processed through third-party payment service providers. Their own terms, security procedures, and processing requirements may also apply.
By submitting payment, you represent that you are authorised to use the selected payment method and that the information provided is accurate.
Orders may be withheld or cancelled where payment cannot be verified or where fraudulent or unauthorised payment activity is reasonably suspected.
9. Shipping & Delivery
Available shipping options, charges, and estimated delivery periods will generally be displayed during checkout or elsewhere on our website.
Delivery periods are estimates rather than guaranteed arrival dates unless expressly stated otherwise.
Delivery may occasionally be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including:
- Courier or postal disruptions
- Customs processing
- Border or import procedures
- Weather conditions
- Public holidays
- Transportation disruptions
- Incorrect or incomplete delivery information
- Events affecting international logistics
Where a delay is caused by a third-party delivery provider or circumstances outside our reasonable control, we will make reasonable efforts to assist with available tracking or delivery information.
Nothing in this section limits any rights that customers may have under applicable law.
10. International Orders
Customers placing orders for delivery outside the country from which the goods are dispatched are responsible for reviewing any local import restrictions, customs requirements, taxes, duties, or other requirements that may apply to their destination.
Unless expressly included in the amount collected at checkout, local taxes, customs duties, clearance charges, or similar government-imposed charges may be payable separately by the recipient.
We cannot guarantee that every product may legally or practically be imported into every destination.
Customers should therefore consider applicable destination requirements before purchasing.
11. Returns & Refunds
Our Returns & Refunds Policy forms part of these Terms & Conditions.
Customers are encouraged to review that policy before completing a purchase.
Return and refund eligibility depends on the circumstances of the order, the condition of the product, the type of product purchased, and applicable consumer protection requirements.
A change of mind, personal preference, disagreement with an author's viewpoint, reading-level preference, or a product not meeting an expectation that was not expressly represented by MindLittleOne does not automatically mean that a product is defective or incorrectly supplied.
If there is a genuine problem with your order, please contact us and we will review the circumstances fairly in accordance with our Returns & Refunds Policy and applicable law.
12. Digital Products & Electronic Content
Where MindLittleOne supplies ebooks, downloads, digital files, digital access, or other electronic content, customers are responsible for checking any stated device, software, file-format, or access requirements before purchasing.
Once digital content has been delivered, downloaded, accessed, or made available, cancellation or refund rights may be limited where permitted by applicable law.
Unauthorised copying, redistribution, resale, publication, sharing, or commercial use of digital content is prohibited unless expressly authorised.
13. No Guarantee of Particular Results
Where our products contain educational material, ideas, strategies, recommendations, exercises, perspectives, or other informational content, individual outcomes will naturally vary.
MindLittleOne does not guarantee any particular educational, behavioural, relationship, professional, personal, financial, health, developmental, or other result from purchasing, reading, applying, or using a product unless a specific guarantee is expressly provided in writing.
A customer's experience with a product may depend on factors outside MindLittleOne's control, including individual circumstances, preferences, interpretation, implementation, and usage.
14. Reviews & Testimonials
Customer reviews, ratings, testimonials, or experiences displayed on our website represent the views or experiences of the individuals who provided them.
They should not be interpreted as guarantees that another customer will experience the same result.
We may moderate reviews where reasonably necessary for spam, inappropriate material, authenticity concerns, legal requirements, or website integrity, but we do not alter genuine reviews merely because they express a different opinion.
15. Third-Party Services & Links
Our website may use or link to services operated by third parties, including payment providers, delivery providers, social media services, applications, or external websites.
These third parties operate independently and may maintain their own terms, privacy practices, and policies.
MindLittleOne is not responsible for the independent content, availability, policies, acts, or omissions of third-party services except to the extent responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded.
16. Intellectual Property
Content made available through the MindLittleOne website, including branding, text, images, graphics, designs, photographs, product materials, and other content, may be protected by applicable intellectual property or other proprietary rights.
Such content may be owned, licensed, supplied, authorised, or otherwise made available by MindLittleOne or relevant third parties.
Unless otherwise permitted by applicable law or authorised by the relevant rights holder, website content should not be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, republished, commercially used, or otherwise exploited without appropriate permission.
All applicable rights are reserved by their respective rights holders.
17. Prohibited Activities
You must not:
- Use our website for fraudulent or unlawful purposes.
- Attempt to interfere with website security or functionality.
- Introduce malicious software or harmful code.
- Collect information about other users without lawful authority.
- Misrepresent your identity or payment authority.
- Infringe intellectual property rights.
- Use our content or services in a manner that violates applicable law.
We reserve the right to take appropriate action where such activity is reasonably suspected.
18. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MindLittleOne will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar losses arising from the use of our website, products, or services where such liability may lawfully be limited.
MindLittleOne will also not be responsible for loss arising solely from:
- A customer's failure to review product information reasonably available before purchase.
- A customer's selection of a product that does not meet personal or subjective preferences.
- Reliance on assumptions or expectations that were not expressly represented by MindLittleOne.
- Use of a product for a purpose for which it was not represented or intended.
- Failure to follow applicable instructions, specifications, or usage requirements.
- Matters outside our reasonable control.
Where liability may legally be limited, our aggregate liability relating to a particular order will not exceed the amount paid to MindLittleOne for the affected order.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or modified.
19. Events Beyond Our Reasonable Control
We will not be responsible for a failure or delay in performing an obligation where the failure or delay results from circumstances reasonably beyond our control.
These may include natural events, transportation interruptions, postal or courier disruptions, governmental actions, customs delays, supply interruptions, telecommunications failures, labour disruptions, or other comparable events.
We will take reasonable steps to minimise disruption where practicable.
20. Changes to Our Website or Services
We may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue parts of our website, product range, features, promotions, or services from time to time.
Nothing in this section permits us to avoid obligations already owed in relation to an accepted order.
21. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions periodically to reflect changes to our operations, services, technology, or applicable requirements.
Updated Terms will take effect when published on our website unless another effective date is stated.
The Terms applicable at the time an order is placed will generally govern that transaction, subject to any mandatory requirements under applicable law.
22. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision will be interpreted or limited to the minimum extent necessary, where legally permissible.
The remaining provisions will continue to apply.
23. No Waiver
If MindLittleOne does not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, this does not mean that we waive our right to enforce that provision later.
24. Entire Agreement
These Terms & Conditions, together with our Returns & Refunds Policy, Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and any other terms expressly incorporated into your order, constitute the agreement governing your use of our website and purchase of our products.
25. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms & Conditions, and any matter arising from or relating to the use of this website, our products, services, or any transaction with MindLittleOne, will be governed and interpreted in accordance with applicable laws.
Any dispute, claim, or disagreement will be addressed through the appropriate legal or dispute-resolution process available under applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or restrict any rights or obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
26. Contact Us
If you have questions about these Terms & Conditions, a product, or an order, please contact us before completing your purchase where clarification would assist your decision.

Knife & Flame Torch Purchase, Safety and Use Terms
These additional terms apply to any knife, cutting tool, flame torch, ignition torch, lighter or related accessory purchased from our store. They form part of our Terms & Conditions and should be read together with our Delivery Information, Returns & Refunds Policy, Privacy Policy and any product-specific instructions supplied with the product.
1. Adult Purchase Policy
As a store policy, knives and flame-producing tools are offered only to customers who are at least 18 years of age, or who meet any higher minimum age required by applicable law at the delivery destination.
By purchasing one of these products, you confirm that you meet the applicable age requirements and are legally permitted to purchase, receive, possess and use the product.
We reserve the right to request reasonable age or identity verification, refuse an order, cancel an order or restrict delivery where reasonably necessary for legal, safety, payment, fraud-prevention or carrier-compliance purposes.
2. Local Laws and Customer Responsibility
Laws concerning knives, cutting tools, flame-producing devices and similar products may vary between countries, states, territories, counties and municipalities.
Customers are responsible for complying with laws governing lawful possession, storage, transportation and use of the product after delivery.
Availability on our website does not represent or guarantee that a product may lawfully be possessed, carried or used in every jurisdiction or circumstance.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where fulfilment may breach applicable law, regulation, carrier requirements or product-safety requirements.
3. Intended Use of Knives
Knives sold through our store are offered as practical cutting tools for lawful purposes described on the relevant product page, including food preparation, butchering, meat preparation, outdoor cooking and other appropriate culinary or utility applications.
They are not sold, promoted or intended as weapons or self-defence devices.
Customers must use knives only for lawful and appropriate purposes.
4. Knife Safety
Knives have inherently sharp edges and may cause serious injury if handled improperly.
Users should:
- Handle the knife carefully and deliberately.
- Keep fingers and other body parts clear of the cutting path.
- Use a stable and appropriate cutting surface.
- Maintain adequate control during use.
- Keep the knife clean and dry.
- Store the knife securely when not in use.
- Use the supplied sheath or appropriate blade protection where applicable.
- Keep knives inaccessible to children.
- Never use knives for horseplay, throwing, intimidation or any unlawful purpose.
- Stop using the knife if the blade, handle, fasteners or sheath becomes damaged or unsafe.
Any manufacturer instructions supplied with the knife should be followed.
5. Flame Torch Supplied Without Fuel
The flame torch is supplied and shipped completely empty.
No oil, gas, butane, propane or other fuel is included in or supplied with the torch.
No fuel refill, gas canister or fuel cartridge is included unless expressly and separately stated on the applicable product page.
The customer must obtain any compatible fuel separately after receiving the product.
Customers must use only the type of fuel expressly approved by the product manufacturer for the specific torch model.
The absence of fuel at the time of sale does not make the torch a toy or eliminate the risks associated with operating the product after fuel has been added.
6. Flame Torch Safety
Once appropriately fuelled by the customer, the torch produces an open flame and extreme heat and therefore requires careful adult handling.
Users must:
- Keep the torch away from children at all times.
- Never allow a child to operate or play with the product.
- Keep the flame away from the face, skin, hair and clothing.
- Keep the torch away from flammable liquids, gases, vapours and combustible materials.
- Use the torch only in an appropriately ventilated location.
- Never leave an operating torch unattended.
- Never intentionally heat, puncture, crush or damage the fuel reservoir.
- Never modify, bypass or disable any ignition, lock or safety mechanism.
- Never refill the torch while it is operating or still hot.
- Keep the torch away from open flames and ignition sources while refilling.
- Allow the torch to cool completely before storage or refilling.
- Confirm that the flame is completely extinguished after use.
- Stop using the torch immediately if there is suspected leakage, abnormal ignition, an unstable flame, damaged components or other signs of malfunction.
- Follow all instructions supplied by the manufacturer.
A child-resistant mechanism does not make a flame-producing product child-safe. The product should always be stored securely and out of reach of children.
7. Fuel Purchased Separately
Fuel is not included with the torch.
The store does not assume responsibility for fuel purchased separately from another seller or for the use of an incorrect, incompatible or contaminated fuel.
Customers are responsible for following both:
- The torch manufacturer's fuel requirements and operating instructions.
- The instructions and warnings supplied by the manufacturer of any separately purchased fuel.
Never substitute another fuel merely because the container or nozzle appears compatible with the torch.
8. Shipping Condition of the Torch
Our flame torch is intended to leave fulfilment without oil, gas or fuel inside the product.
Where required by a carrier, postal service or applicable transportation rules, the product must also be free from residual fuel and fuel vapours before shipment.
We reserve the right to change the shipping service, reject a delivery destination, request additional carrier review or cancel and refund an order where transportation requirements cannot be satisfied.
Customers must not ask us or our fulfilment partners to conceal, misdescribe or incorrectly classify a product for transportation purposes.
9. Shipping of Knives
Knives must be packaged so that the blade cannot become exposed or penetrate the outer shipping package during normal transportation.
Where supplied, a sheath or protective blade cover should remain fitted during transportation.
Tracked delivery, signature confirmation or other delivery controls may be used where appropriate.
Shipping availability remains subject to destination-specific law and carrier requirements.
10. Inspection Upon Delivery
Customers should inspect knives and flame torches promptly after receiving them.
Do not use a product if:
- The packaging indicates serious transit damage.
- The knife blade, handle or fastening appears loose or damaged.
- The sheath or blade protection is materially damaged.
- The torch body, ignition mechanism or fuel reservoir appears cracked or deformed.
- The torch appears to contain unexpected fuel or liquid.
- There is any suspected fuel odour or residue.
- A safety mechanism does not function correctly.
- Any other condition creates a reasonable safety concern.
Customers should contact Customer Support before using a product believed to be defective or unsafe.
11. Returns of Knives and Flame Torches
Returns remain subject to our Returns & Refunds Policy and any consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
For health, safety and transportation reasons, additional procedures may apply to knives and flame-producing products that have been used, altered, sharpened, filled with fuel or damaged.
A customer must not return a torch after adding fuel without first contacting Customer Support for instructions.
A fuelled, leaking or potentially hazardous product must not be placed in ordinary mail or handed to a carrier unless the carrier has confirmed the applicable transportation requirements.
Change-of-mind returns may be subject to reasonable conditions stated in our Returns & Refunds Policy where legally permitted.
Nothing in these terms limits legal rights relating to defective, unsafe, incorrectly supplied or materially misdescribed products.
12. Product Modification
Customers must not modify, dismantle, alter or bypass safety components of knives or flame torches.
This includes unauthorized modification of:
- Knife handles or blade-retention components.
- Torch ignition systems.
- Child-resistant mechanisms.
- Flame locks.
- Fuel reservoirs.
- Fuel valves.
- Flame-adjustment systems.
Unauthorized alterations can create serious safety hazards.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the store is not responsible for loss or injury resulting from unauthorized modification, deliberate misuse or operation contrary to manufacturer instructions.
13. Product Specifications
Dimensions, materials, blade specifications, fuel compatibility and other technical information displayed on our website are based on information supplied by the manufacturer or supplier and information reasonably available to us.
Customers should check the current product description and supplied operating instructions before use.
We do not describe a knife as hand-forged, professional grade, high-carbon steel, food-grade or as having a particular steel grade unless we have reasonable supplier documentation supporting that representation.
Similarly, we do not represent a flame torch as certified to a particular regulatory or safety standard unless we hold reasonable evidence supporting that representation.
If a material product-description error is identified, affected customers should contact Customer Support.
14. Product Safety and Regulatory Compliance
We reserve the right to suspend or discontinue the sale of any knife or flame torch where there is a reasonable product-safety, regulatory, certification, transportation or recall concern.
Where required, we may request compliance information from manufacturers, suppliers, importers, laboratories or fulfilment providers.
Where applicable, we may contact customers concerning a safety notice, corrective action, replacement, refund, recall or disposal instruction.
Customers should promptly follow any safety or recall notice relating to a purchased product.
15. Responsible and Lawful Use
Products purchased from our store must not be used:
- To threaten or intimidate another person.
- To cause unlawful injury.
- To damage property unlawfully.
- To start an unlawful fire.
- As a weapon where prohibited.
- In connection with criminal activity.
- In any manner prohibited by applicable law.
Our products are sold only for lawful practical, culinary, household or utility purposes as described on their respective product pages.
16. Inherent Product Risks
Customers acknowledge that knives contain sharp cutting edges and that a flame torch, once fuelled, generates an open flame and significant heat.
These products require responsible handling, storage and supervision.
Safe use depends upon following supplied instructions, using the product only for its intended purpose and taking reasonable safety precautions.
17. Limitation Regarding Misuse
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for injury, loss or damage resulting from:
- Deliberate or criminal misuse.
- Unauthorized modification.
- Failure to follow safety instructions.
- Use of incompatible fuel.
- Improper refilling.
- Improper storage.
- Unsafe handling.
- Use by a person prohibited by law from possessing or operating the product.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any liability, warranty, consumer right or legal remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.
18. Order Verification and Cancellation
We may place an order on hold or cancel an order where we reasonably identify:
- Age-verification concerns.
- Fraud or chargeback risk.
- Address inconsistencies.
- Legal or regulatory restrictions.
- Carrier restrictions.
- Product-safety concerns.
- Supplier or compliance-documentation issues.
Where an order is cancelled before fulfilment, the appropriate refund will be processed in accordance with our payment and refund procedures.
19. Purchase Acknowledgement
By completing an order containing a knife or flame torch, the purchaser confirms that:
- They meet our adult-purchase requirement.
- They are legally entitled to purchase and receive the product.
- They are purchasing it for a lawful purpose.
- They understand that the flame torch is supplied without oil, gas or fuel.
- They understand that fuel, if required, must be purchased separately.
- They will use only manufacturer-approved fuel.
- They will follow the applicable safety instructions.
- They will store the products securely and away from children.
- They accept responsibility for complying with local laws governing possession and use.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any transaction where reasonably necessary to protect customer safety, comply with applicable laws or satisfy product-safety and transportation requirements.
