1. Website Use & Eligibility

By using this website, you confirm that you are legally capable of entering into a binding purchase agreement in your jurisdiction or have the necessary parental or guardian permission where permitted.

MindLittleOne reserves the right to restrict, suspend or terminate access to its website where there are reasonable grounds to suspect fraud, unlawful activity, security threats, unauthorised use or serious violations of these Terms.

Customers must not misuse our website, interfere with its operation or provide deliberately inaccurate information.

2. Product Information, Book Formats & Marketing Representation

2.1 Standard Book Format

ALL PHYSICAL BOOKS OFFERED AND SOLD BY MINDLITTLEONE ARE PAPERBACK (SOFTCOVER) EDITIONS.

MindLittleOne does not offer hardcover or hardback books.

Product formats are defined as follows:

• Paperback / Softcover: A physical printed book with a flexible cover. This is the format supplied for all physical book orders.
• Hardcover / Hardback: A physical printed book with a rigid cover. This edition is not sold or supplied by MindLittleOne.
• Digital / E-book: An electronic publication delivered digitally, such as a PDF or other downloadable file. This does not include a physical book.

Customers are encouraged to review product specifications, descriptions and selected variants before purchasing.

If a customer requires a hardcover edition, they should not place an order for a physical book through MindLittleOne.

2.2 Product Images & Marketing Materials

Product photographs, illustrations, promotional videos, digital renderings, advertising graphics and mockups may contain elements intended for visual presentation.

For example, differences may arise in:

• Lighting, backgrounds and decorative settings

2.3 Customer Product Selection

MindLittleOne is not ordinarily responsible for dissatisfaction arising solely from a customer's personal preferences, subjective expectations or assumptions that were not reasonably supported by our product representations, except as required by applicable law.

Specifications published by unrelated third-party retailers do not determine the format of products offered through MindLittleOne. However, this does not reduce our responsibility for representations made in our own advertisements, listings or checkout information.

Substitutions that materially change a product will not be made without any consent required by law.

5. Pricing, Promotions & Currency

Promotional offers, discounts, product bundles, introductory prices and limited-time offers are subject to the eligibility conditions displayed with the offer.

MindLittleOne reserves the right to correct genuine pricing, typographical or technical errors.

Where a material pricing error affects an order, we may contact the customer to confirm the correct price or cancel and refund the affected order where legally permitted.

We will not impose undisclosed additional charges after payment without the consent or legal basis required.

6. Orders, Acceptance & Cancellation

Submitting an order constitutes a request to purchase the selected products.

An automated acknowledgement confirms receipt of the order request but does not necessarily constitute final acceptance.

Where reasonably justified and permitted by law, MindLittleOne may:

Where MindLittleOne cancels a paid order that cannot be fulfilled, the appropriate payment amount will be refunded.

Once an order has entered fulfillment or dispatch, changes and discretionary cancellations may no longer be available, subject to applicable consumer cancellation rights.

Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate order information, including:

• Email address
• Contact number where required
• Delivery address
• Product selection and quantity
• Variant or digital format selected
• Other details reasonably required to fulfill the order

Customers should carefully review their order summary before completing payment.

Requests to correct order information must be submitted promptly.

MindLittleOne will make reasonable efforts to assist, but cannot guarantee amendments after fulfillment or dispatch has begun.

Reasonable additional costs directly resulting from incorrect customer-provided information may be charged to the customer where disclosed and legally permitted.

We are not required to absorb costs caused solely by an incorrect address or an avoidable error supplied by the customer, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

8. Payment, Verification & Fraud Prevention

Payment must be completed using an accepted payment method displayed at checkout.

Customers represent that they are authorised to use their selected payment method.

Transactions may be subject to verification by MindLittleOne, Shopify, banks or payment providers.

We reserve the right to pause or cancel orders where there are reasonable concerns relating to:

• Unauthorised payment methods
• Payment discrepancies
• Suspicious transaction activity
• Fraudulent identity information
• Material delivery-address inconsistencies
• Regulatory or payment-provider restrictions

Verification measures will be proportionate to the identified risk and consistent with applicable privacy requirements.

False or abusive payment claims may be investigated and, where appropriate, reported to the relevant payment provider or authority.

Nothing in these Terms restricts a customer's legitimate right to raise a payment dispute or exercise legally protected consumer remedies.

9. Shipping, Delivery & Fulfilment

Estimated shipping and delivery information is provided on our website or during checkout.

Delivery estimates are not guaranteed arrival dates unless expressly identified as guaranteed.

Delivery may be affected by factors including international transportation, customs inspections, adverse weather, postal disruptions, public holidays and courier capacity.

MindLittleOne will make reasonable efforts to provide tracking information and assist with relevant delivery enquiries.

Customers are responsible for providing an accurate and deliverable address and cooperating with reasonable carrier verification or delivery requirements.

Where a delivery fails due solely to incorrect information or non-cooperation by the customer, reasonable additional delivery costs may apply where legally permitted.

Where a shipment is lost, undelivered or delayed beyond an applicable legal or agreed deadline, we will assess the appropriate replacement, cancellation or refund remedy.

Responsibility for delivery remains subject to applicable consumer law.

10. International Orders, Customs & Import Requirements

Customers purchasing for delivery outside the country of dispatch should review relevant destination import restrictions, duties, taxes and customs requirements.

Where destination charges are not included at checkout, additional customs duties or government-imposed fees may be payable by the recipient.

MindLittleOne reserves the right to decline or cancel orders for destinations where fulfillment is prohibited, unsupported or subject to unresolved regulatory restrictions.

Customer Responsibility & Purchase Decisions

Customers are responsible for carefully reviewing product titles, descriptions, formats, specifications and selected variants before completing their purchase.

ALL PHYSICAL BOOKS SOLD BY MINDLITTLEONE ARE PAPERBACK (SOFTCOVER) EDITIONS, UNLESS EXPRESSLY STATED OTHERWISE IN THE INDIVIDUAL PRODUCT LISTING.

Where a product has been accurately described and supplied according to the purchase information, the following do not automatically qualify for a refund or exchange:

• Change of mind or buyer's remorse.
• Personal dissatisfaction with the content, writing style, illustrations or subject matter.
• Disagreement with an author's views, opinions or recommendations.
• Reading-level, educational suitability or personal preference concerns.
• Expectations concerning book size, appearance, format or presentation that differ from the specifications accurately disclosed at purchase.
• Preference for a hardcover edition when the product was clearly advertised and purchased as paperback.
• Purchasing an incorrect title, quantity or variant through customer selection.

Personal preferences, unsupported assumptions or changes in expectations do not, by themselves, constitute product defects or incorrect fulfillment.

Return Eligibility & Store Discretion

For voluntary change-of-mind returns, MindLittleOne reserves the right, where legally permitted, to:

• Require prior return authorisation and proof of purchase.
• Assess the product's condition before approving a refund.
• Decline discretionary returns involving books that have been read, used, marked, damaged or altered.
• Require customers to bear return shipping and associated costs.
• Decline refund or exchange requests submitted outside the applicable return window.
• Determine whether an exchange, store credit, partial refund or other goodwill arrangement is appropriate.
• Approve a refund without requiring the product to be returned.

The submission of a return or refund request does not constitute automatic approval.

Refunds, replacements, exchanges, discounts and goodwill compensation are not guaranteed for discretionary requests.

Any goodwill arrangement offered by MindLittleOne is voluntary, applies only to the particular circumstances and does not establish an entitlement to equivalent compensation for other purchases.

Damaged, Incorrect or Misdescribed Products

Claims relating to damaged, defective, incorrect or materially misdescribed products will be reviewed using relevant order records, product information and reasonably requested supporting evidence.

MindLittleOne reserves the right to investigate the circumstances and determine the appropriate response, consistent with applicable consumer protection laws.

Customers are responsible for reviewing the disclosed file format, compatibility requirements and product description before purchase.

Digital products are generally excluded from discretionary change-of-mind refunds once access or downloading has begun, where legally permitted.

Where applicable law requires express consent to immediate delivery and acknowledgment of the loss of cancellation rights, those requirements must be satisfied before the relevant restriction applies.

Customers must not unlawfully reproduce, redistribute, resell, publish or commercially exploit digital content.

Customers acknowledge that reading and applying educational or informational material does not necessarily produce uniform outcomes.

No general product description should be interpreted as an unconditional promise of results.

14. Customer Reviews, Ratings & Testimonials

Customer reviews and testimonials represent individual experiences and opinions.

They are not guarantees of typical results.

MindLittleOne may moderate customer-submitted content in accordance with applicable law and platform policies, including content involving spam, impersonation, unlawful material, threats, abusive language or demonstrably fabricated submissions.

We will not suppress genuine reviews solely because they are negative or critical.

ADDITIONAL TERMS — KNIVES, CUTTING TOOLS & FLAME TORCHES

These additional terms apply only to relevant knives, cutting tools, flame torches and associated accessories offered through MindLittleOne.

They supplement the general Terms & Conditions, Refund & Return Policy, Shipping Policy and any manufacturer instructions.

The availability of these products is subject to applicable law, product-safety requirements, payment-provider eligibility and shipping-carrier approval.

1. Adult Purchase & Age Verification

As a store policy, applicable knives, cutting tools and flame-producing devices are offered only to customers aged 18 or older, or a higher minimum age where legally required.

Where applicable law permits a different age threshold, MindLittleOne may nevertheless enforce its own stricter minimum-age requirement.

We reserve the right to request lawful age verification, restrict delivery, cancel an order or decline fulfillment where eligibility cannot be established.

An age declaration made at checkout does not replace any independent verification required by law.

2. Local Laws & Regulatory Restrictions

Rules concerning knives, cutting instruments and flame-producing devices differ between jurisdictions.

MindLittleOne does not recommend use of a damaged, modified or improperly maintained tool.

5. Flame Torches — Supplied Without Fuel

Flame torches are supplied without fuel.

Unless a separate product listing expressly and lawfully offers a compatible fuel product, no oil, gas, butane, propane, fuel cartridge or fuel refill is included with the torch.

Customers are responsible for obtaining suitable fuel separately, where lawful.

Only fuel types specifically approved by the manufacturer's instructions may be used.

The absence of fuel during shipping does not mean that the torch is safe for children or free from operational hazards.

This provision must accurately reflect the verified fulfillment condition of every torch sold.

6. Flame Torch Operating Safety

A fuelled torch may generate an open flame and extremely high temperatures.

The product must be handled only by an appropriately capable adult in accordance with manufacturer instructions.

Users must:

• Keep the torch away from children
• Keep flames away from combustible material
• Operate only in suitable, ventilated conditions
• Never leave an active flame unattended
• Avoid using damaged or leaking equipment
• Never alter or bypass safety components
• Never refill while operating or while hot
• Allow the product to cool before storage
• Follow all manufacturer operating and maintenance instructions

Customers must discontinue use immediately if any malfunction or unsafe condition is suspected.

7. Separately Purchased Fuel

Fuel is not included with a torch purchase.

Customers are responsible for selecting fuel approved for the specific product and following the instructions issued by both the torch manufacturer and fuel supplier.

MindLittleOne does not warrant the suitability or quality of fuel independently purchased from another retailer.

To the extent permitted by law, MindLittleOne is not responsible for damage caused solely by contaminated, incompatible or improperly used third-party fuel.

8. Fuel-Free Shipping & Carrier Compliance

Flame torches must be verified as meeting all applicable shipping conditions before dispatch.

Where required, products must be free from fuel, residual vapours and other prohibited hazardous contents.

We reserve the right to delay, restrict or cancel shipments if carrier requirements or transport regulations cannot be satisfied.

Customers must not request inaccurate shipping declarations, prohibited packaging arrangements or other circumvention of transport requirements.

9. Knife Packaging & Delivery

Knives must be packed in accordance with relevant product-safety and transportation requirements.

Protective coverings should be fitted where appropriate to prevent exposed blades during shipment.

Age verification, signed delivery, tracked shipping or other safeguards may be used where necessary.

Shipping is available only where the product, recipient and delivery method meet applicable requirements.

10. Inspection on Delivery

Customers should inspect knives and flame torches promptly after delivery.

Products should not be used if there is evidence of:

• Serious transit damage
• Loose or damaged components
• Cracked or deformed torch parts
• Unexpected fuel or leakage
• Defective ignition or safety mechanisms
• Damaged blade retention
• Other conditions creating a reasonable safety concern

Customers should contact MindLittleOne before attempting to operate an unsafe or defective product.

Failure to inspect promptly does not eliminate any statutory rights that apply to defective goods.

11. Returns of Knives & Flame Torches

Returns remain subject to our Refund & Return Policy and applicable consumer rights.

Additional return-handling restrictions may apply where products have been used, modified, sharpened, fuelled or damaged.

Customers must contact MindLittleOne before attempting to return a torch containing fuel or other hazardous contents.

Fuelled, leaking or potentially hazardous products must not be sent through ordinary postal services unless the relevant carrier has expressly confirmed that the shipment is lawful and acceptable.

Where a return is unsafe or unlawful, an alternative legally appropriate remedy or disposal arrangement may be considered.

12. Unauthorised Product Modification

Customers must not bypass or disable manufacturer safety mechanisms or make modifications that compromise product safety.

This includes unauthorised changes to blade retention, handles, ignition systems, locks, fuel reservoirs, valves or safety controls.

MindLittleOne is not responsible for losses caused solely by deliberate misuse or unsafe unauthorised alteration, to the extent legally permissible.

Product warranties and mandatory consumer protections remain subject to applicable law.

13. Product Specifications & Supplier Information

Product specifications are based on manufacturer or supplier information and other information reasonably available to MindLittleOne.

Specifications may include dimensions, materials, blade characteristics, fuel compatibility or other technical details.

MindLittleOne will not intentionally advertise unsupported certifications, materials, performance levels or safety characteristics.

Customers must follow the latest valid manufacturer instructions supplied with the product.

Any material discrepancy identified in a product listing should be reported to customer support.

14. Product Safety, Regulatory Compliance & Recalls

MindLittleOne reserves the right to suspend, withdraw, restrict or discontinue products where there are credible safety, certification, regulatory or recall concerns.

Such actions may include a safety notice, repair, replacement, refund, recall or appropriate disposal arrangement.

15. Lawful & Responsible Use

Products must not be used for threatening, intimidating, unlawfully injuring others, damaging property, initiating unlawful fires or carrying out prohibited activities.

All knives, cutting tools and torches are supplied only for lawful purposes consistent with their advertised use.

MindLittleOne may decline orders where there are reasonable grounds to believe that fulfillment would be unlawful or unsafe.

16. Inherent Product Risks

Customers acknowledge that cutting tools contain sharp edges and fuelled torches may generate open flames and considerable heat.

These products require responsible adult handling, suitable storage, regular inspection and adherence to manufacturer instructions.

Purchasing or using such products does not transfer responsibility for deliberate misuse to MindLittleOne.

However, nothing in this section excludes mandatory product-safety duties or other liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.

17. Limitation Regarding Misuse

To the extent permitted by law, MindLittleOne is not responsible for harm arising solely from:

• Deliberate or criminal misuse
• Unauthorised safety modifications
• Operation contrary to manufacturer instructions
• Incompatible or contaminated fuel
• Improper storage or refilling
• Unsafe handling
• Unlawful possession or use
• Use by an individual who does not meet the applicable legal requirements

This section does not remove any legally required remedy concerning defective or unsafe products, negligent acts or other non-excludable liability.

18. Order Verification, Restrictions & Cancellation

MindLittleOne may place an order on hold, request appropriate verification or cancel fulfillment where there are reasonable concerns involving:

• Age eligibility
• Product legality
• Import restrictions
• Payment verification
• Carrier acceptance
• Product certification
• Unsafe shipping conditions
• Supplier compliance
• Potential unlawful use

Where a paid order is cancelled and cannot be fulfilled, the appropriate refund will be provided.

A purchase acknowledgment or disclaimer does not replace any required licence, approval or statutory verification procedure.

19. Purchase Acknowledgment

By purchasing an eligible knife, cutting tool or flame torch, customers acknowledge the product-specific information made available before checkout, including:

• The applicable adult-purchase requirement
• The need for lawful purchase and possession
• The product's intended practical use
• The inherent hazards associated with sharp edges or open flames
• The requirement to follow manufacturer safety instructions
• The need to keep hazardous products away from children
• The fact that flame torches are supplied without fuel
• The requirement to use manufacturer-approved fuel where applicable
• The existence of relevant shipping and handling restrictions

MindLittleOne reserves the right to decline or cancel transactions where necessary to comply with applicable law, payment-provider rules, product-safety obligations or carrier requirements.

Nothing in these additional terms removes mandatory consumer rights, product-safety obligations or legally available remedies.
